DIY Cutoff

Cutoff shorts done by yours truly. I´ve got this Abercrombie & Fitch pants that´s just been hanging in my closet and unused for more than a year. I decided to cut it off satisfying my new denim shorts need. As they said when there´s this item in your closet left untouched for a year or so, give it away or alter it - uncluttering your closet 101. Donned this outfit yesterday to accompany my hubby in his voice/band practice.

A&F denim, thrifted white shirt, necklace mom´s closet, vintage bag, delabella red flats, bodyshop red lipstick, armani leather belt

another ensemble with a white shirt

Espadrilles

Man! I need a pair. Espadrilles in wedge type with at least 3 inches in heels. Colorful and lightweight. I hope to find one soon. My old banana republic espadrille (shown here)  still useful but it´s in conservative color of beige and black. Summer 2011 - 2012 means color after all. Espadrilles of this kind is real sexy and romantic paired with either shorts, dress, denim pants, or skirt. Espadrille sensation is going to continue in 2012 as seen in London Fashion Week Spring 2012 Collection by Mulberry (beige and orange espadrilles above) and Jonathan Saunders (green&yellow espadrilles).

Piling Necklaces

Inspired by the ancients, solid metal jewelries are trending this autumn/fall 2011. The trend is surely simple, minimalist and clean. But how can you wear solid metal jewelry either gold, bronze or silver in spring/summer? Olivia Palermo once again showed a mix of trend in an accessory. The pile of necklaces with a  solid metal and few strands in colorful beads made the look summery.

Salinas Beachwear Verão 2012

I had my first Salinas Swimwear last season and I just can´t wait to have another pair come summer. Here is a part of their collection for Verão 2012 shown in the currently on-going Fashion Rio Verão 2012. Intresting choice of color combination. Inspired by the city where the beachwear originates, no other than the lively Rio de Jainero. Price range R$ 120 - 200 a pair.
