Summer Hair Inspiration

Am already so bored with my hair flowing to the waist. When you see me from the back you might think that am a lassie who is so true to her religion that says cutting hair is a sin. I want a cut soon. Still long and this inspiration is the one am looking at. Sweeping fringe bangs and little waves at the end less of the color red. Easy to maintain. Nothing fancy. 60s that is.

Gravity - Defying Hairstyle

Gravity - defying hairstyle re HIGH BUN is taking over fashion scene these days. Doable if you´re hair length is at least shoulder level. Ok. Some would call it crazy, but done right you are sure hitting a glam look. I haven´t tried it though for a formal occassion.  Instead of wearing the regular ponytail, I would usually pull off high bun when running errands in downtown or working out at the gym. Really effortless and refreshing. Can you pull off high bun without looking prissy?

Bungee Cord

Not for your extreme sports..but for your hair..Ditch those rubber bands that damage your hair. Next time ponytail comes your mind you may want to consider bungee cord to tie your hair.

Get-up

Am getting compliments from this get-up so might as well share how I created the look. The ensemble was worn during the first day of our cruise.

washed denim shorts - Hering
white top under - Malwee (without the vest it looks so revealing)
tan belt - vintage shop
vest - Julia Tricot ( very light knit)
sandals - via marte

Hair - dried naturally (no blower nor iron)
Barely there make-up - used two types of mascara for longer lashes (boticario), volume (maybelline)
- swept small amount of blush on my cheeks (bodyshop)
- mix of nude lipsticks from maybelline and boticario

PS: tuck-in the fitted under shirt so it won't look lousy.

My pick for the best look in the 83rd Academy Awards. I love her black dress - insanely sexy on top and flowing at the bottom. Love the mid-section bun and the danglings earrings completed by a barely-there make-up. Just perfect!

Jen´s New Hairstyle

Jennifer Aniston finally cut her hair into a bob!!!! For so long she´s been sporting a long hair and yesterday she stepped out with this new hairstyle. Exactly the length I´ve been thinking to wear my hair. What do you think of her new haircut? Rachel is back with an updated bob!

3 weeks ago I marked an appointment with my stylist, February 26 will have my haircut and hair spa treatment. Hmmmmm..I guess am not ready to cut my hair this short...

Polished Ponytail

The less special hairstyle you wear when working out has recently become the glamorous look for formal affairs. Polished ponytail is so effortless and almost if not all women can do it themselves (unless she has a pixie cut). For your next formal, save those pennies and do your own polished look with these simple guide:

 1. blowdry your hair using a round brush

 2. gather the hair at the back (at least few inches from your nape)

3.  secure the gathered hair with an elastic band

4.  wrap the elastic band with small piece of hair to conceal it

5. apply light mousse or serum to achieve a well-groomed look

That easy!
